Unlike the last attempt to knock down Prop. 8, this one looks promising--and since it's happening at the federal level, the results could be massive. Basically, the defense will need to prove that there is a real and substantial reason to deny gays and lesbians the right to marry. This will most likely include an attempt to show concrete damage to the foundation of male-female weddings, coupled with arguments that a child is best raised by one man and one woman. If this can't be done, and done solidly and conclusively, then the judges will announce that the law exists only as a tool for one group of people to discriminate against another group, and is therefore unconstitutional and thus invalid.
Attorney for the defense Brian Raum has already gone on record as saying he doesn't see the need for a trial, as Prop. 8 doesn't prohibit gays and lesbians from marrying--provided that they marry someone of the opposite sex. Yeah, things are looking up.
Oh, exploitable! Oh, the impact of the epicness for which you, dear reader, should now brace! There simply aren't enough bad memes in existance yet to overhype my latest creation, RSSchan. This bold leap sideways in innovative internetting combines the pr0n and lulziness of the chans with the speed and wholesome goodness of RSS feeds. Why f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5f5 when the frosted butts can hurl themselves directly towards your face at a significant fraction of the speed of light? RSSchan was lovingly handcrafted by me from all-natural, organic intertubes that will attach to any newsreader with the ability to import an .opml file. I didn't make these feeds, I just found them in a month of searching that was truly sporadic in at least half the meanings of the word. But never before have they been gathered together in such a big pile of steaming-fresh e-goodness! Most who have cared erstwhile to access the chans via feeds got no further than discovering the 4chan Archive before calling it quits. (On certain of the smaller chans, one even gets the impression that the admins themselves don't know that they're feeding out their own boards!) But with this single file, barely a quarter-macrobit in size, you will get serviced by almost half the chans listed in the OverChan--every one I could uncover feeds for--plus a few more that caught my eye along the way. Meet strange new people with RSSchan! Introducing RSSchan into your interdiet has been found to increase your daily supply of LURKMOAR, widely considered an important part of being a healthy channer.

This file is the alpha, beta, original and for all I care final version of RSSchan. If you want to be an 'administrator' of RSSchan, download the file, modify it as you see fit, host it somewhere, ring the bell, read the book, light the candle and you're the shizznat, baby. I will not be supplying updates myself; the file in fact is already outdated as it includes the now-defunct 7chan feeds, which I simply couldn't bear to throw away. Be strong for me, anonymous. Actually, if feeds for 420chan would surface or some other glaring omission would appear, I might revise the file for that, so be sure and comment here if you feel I've missed something. Then again, please understand that some boards just don't have RSS feeds and I am not the one who actually makes the feeds. In particular, I can't recall ever finding a feed for the news announcements, FAQ or rules commonly accessed on a normal chan's front page, even though it seems like the first thing an admin would want to ensure people would read, and probably relatively simple to set up as well. Note too that some chans (particularly the iichan network) seem only to have feeds for certain of the boards. Text-only boards proved to be the most consistently-fed.
TL;DR: Download, exploit and/or complain all you want; probably nothing else will happen.
PROTIP: If you use and enjoy RSSchan, this essentially makes you pro-Kusaba boards. Because Kusaba's the only board code that [sniff] cares about your RSS feeds.
